Standard RN Series features include R-13 double wall rigid polyurethane foam panel cabinet construction with thermal break, direct drive backward curved plenum fans, stainless steel drain pans, access doors with full length stainless steel piano hinges and quarter turn lockable handles and 2500 hour salt spray tested paint. RN Series water-source heat pumps are available with a variety of heat options for emergency or supplemental heating including modulating gas heat and SCR electric heat.
Selectable options include gear-driven economizers, sensible or enthalpy energy recovery wheels, ecoated coils, interior corrosion protection, and modulating hot gas reheat.
VFD driven variable speed compressors are available for load matching performance and improved part load efficiency. Units are available with half VFD controlled compressors or all VFD controlled compressors.
Options include variable speed supply, exhaust and return fans for precise airflow control, building pressure control, and reduced power consumption.
All unit controls are located in a control panel cabinet isolated from the airstream and located in the water-source heat pump walk-in service vestibule.
Water-source heat pumps use the high heat-capacity of water to transfer energy to and from the refrigerant to provide energy efficient heating and cooling.
During heat pump cooling mode, the heat exchanger will transfer heat from the refrigerant to the water to cool the space.
