Havtech is now representing Blue Frontier across Maryland, Washington, DC, Virginia, and Western Pennsylvania.
Blue Frontier’s BF-DOAS™ was named the 2026 AHR Expo Product of the Year and recognized as the 2026 Innovation Award Winner for Sustainable Solutions. The packaged dedicated outdoor air system uses TE-Sal™ liquid desiccant technology, indirect evaporative cooling, and integrated thermal storage to support ventilation, humidity control, and energy performance in commercial buildings.
“Blue Frontier gives us a new way to talk with engineers and owners about outdoor air, humidity control, and energy use,” said Tim Dorman, Innovative Solutions Director at Havtech. “The non-corrosive liquid desiccant paired with thermal storage capability is what makes this different. It creates an opportunity to operate with EERs more than 100 and an ISMRE rating of 45 while still delivering the humidity and temperature control these projects require at peak summer design conditions.”
The BF-DOAS is designed for projects where outdoor air, humidity control, electrification, refrigerant strategy, and peak demand are part of the design conversation. By separating dehumidification from active cooling and using integrated thermal storage, Blue Frontier gives engineers and owners another option for managing comfort, energy use, and operating cost.
Through this partnership, Havtech supports application review, product selection, and project coordination for Blue Frontier systems.
